Easter Egg Holder

Happy Wednesday everyone!  This week's Cricut Cardz Challenge is to use a cupcake wrapper or holder but I wanted to use mine for something other than a cupcake.  But what?  After some thinking I thought why not use it as an egg holder.

Then, I remembered a post I did last month for some Easter Egg Buddies I made using plastic canvas and plastic eggs.  In that post I wondered if I could re-create them using my Cricut.  Well, here's my attempt at doing just that.

For this project I used:

Easter 2010 for the cupcake wrapper cut at 2"

Simply Charmed for the baby chick cut at 1" and pop dotted to the wrapper so that it would stand out straight on the wrapper

Simply Charmed for the ears on my egg.  I cut the head of the baby bunny twice - flipping one for the backside.  Removed the face portion of the head and then hot glued the ears around the egg as seen in the picture.

Now it's your turn to come and play along with us.  Create  your project using a cupcake wrapper from any cartridge and link it to the CCC #70 by Tuesday, April 19th.  I look forward to seeing what you've created.
