Hats Off To You

Well we made it through another weekend and just in time for another Pause Dream Enjoy challenge.  This week our projects are showcasing hats.  Yep, make a card, layout or any other project but be sure to put a hat on it somewhere.

For my project I chose to create a salute to the troops and went with a Patriotic theme.  My two cuts are from the Stand and Salute cartridge.  I then adhered a small piece of silver metallic cord to the hat and then adhered the hat to a strip of paper that I ran through the printer with the graphic and verbiage pictured.  The saluting solider I turned around so that the salute would be facing the hat and flag rather than the salute being away from it.

Now that you've seen my project, hop on over to Pause Dream Enjoy and check out all of the other wonderful projects our team created for you this week.  There are some truly inspiring ones waiting just for you.

Then - after you've had a look - create your own project, link up and play along with us for your chance to win a set of CARDZ TV STAMPS (must have a USA address).  You have until March 3rd to get your entries in but don't dilly dally because it'll be here before you know it.......

Like the 'rocky ground' background you used. Not sure I understand how you created the background and would like to know more. Great attention to detail on turning the soldier around for salute. Not sure if you had entered in any challenges or knew that you could enter this in the Simon Says Stamp & Show Ch Metal-ology sicne you used metallic cord.
