A Good Friend Is Card

I told you I'd be making other projects, and I couldn't help myself.  I just had to get a card made with this file from Treasure Box Designs.

So last night I stayed in my craft room while the guys once again played their video games in the living room.  Fine by me.  Just means I get to craft for as long as I want while doing it in peace.

For this card I cut the TBD file at 9.58 inches high and 9.45 wide.  I did find that cutting at this size allowed me to create a cut that fit on a 5 inch high card without the feet/legs.  That means next time I need to go smaller if I want to be able to use the full file.

The sign file I cut at 4.59 inches high and 4.78 inches wide.  And in case you're curious, purchase of this cut file also comes with the poem.  I think she has 3 different sizes but I cropped the picture down to one and adjust it to the size I need when printing.

My background paper is from the DCWV mat stack All About Girls.  I thought that bobby pins would be a great background for two girls with beautiful hair.  LOL

And now I'm off to enter this into the Super Scraps Saturday challenge over at Hiding in My Craft Room.

Love that card. I have a best friend for 52 years now. I'd love to make a card for her.. How funny, she has dark hair and mine is light so how perfect this would be. Thanks for sharing. Gonna have to get that file. :)
