Happy You Day For Mom

The week is almost half way over and I for one am pretty happy about that.  I'm not even going to lie.  It has already been a crazy and tiring week and I'm ready for some rest and relaxation.  But until the weekend is here I'll keep plugging away.

Today I have a card to share that was created for a flower challenge on National Scrapbooking Day.  I absolutely love this die cut I found over at Treasure Box Designs.  I believe it's called Daisy & Rose.  It's one of the newly released files and let me tell ya, if you haven't been to their website lately you're missing out on some wonderful creations.

So for this cut I decided to add a little bit of texture and added some yellow flower soft to the "eye" of the daisy.  I think it gives it a soft, pillowy kind of look.

The stamped sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps set titled This 'n' That.   Again, if you haven't been to this website to check out the stamp sets you're missing out.  She has some really great sets over there and this is one of a handful of sets I use a lot.  I've never really been big in stamping but Mary's stamps have turned me around on that one.

Finally, my background paper is from SEI's Desert Springs line.  Isn't perfect for this cut?  And I think it's a perfect card for Mother's Day.  What do you think?

Now I'm going to go enter it into the Holiday Catch Up Challenge over at Hiding in My Craft Room.  And the Mother's Day challenge over at Craftin Desert Diva's.
