My Hero

Armed Forces Day is this Saturday and I come from a family that has both active duty and retired military representing three different branches or service:  US Air Force, Marines and Army.  So of course I had to make cards for each branch.

On top of that our family lives within minutes of Eglin Air Force Base located in the Panhandle of FL and for the last couple weeks we have had quite a few war games being played.  Almost every night you can hear them practicing their bombing and other stuff on the reservation just miles from us.  It's actually pretty cool and as a kid I always loved watching the convoys around town.  And to this day I love watching the jets and helicopters come in and take off.  We haven't had an air show in years and boy do I miss that.

But anyhow, I created these cards after being inspired by a quote I found on Pintrest.  I loved it so much that I used it as the sentiment in each of these cards.

The cut files are from Treasure Box Designs and the stamped sentiment on the front of the card is from the Cardz TV Stamps set titled You're the Man.
