You Inspire Me

Anyone who has followed my blog long enough knows how much I love a good Mud Run/Obstacle Course Race.  So it should come as no surprise that when this awesome Mud Run file was released by Marjorie Ann Designs last week I was all over it.

This is the first project I've made using the file (I have a layout coming soon) and this is a birthday card I made for my daughter who turns 25 this week.  She was the first of my children to want to get out there and try this sport with me and she's come back for more this year already.  So it seemed only fitting that I create a birthday card with this theme for her.

The file originally had a boy climbing the wall but with the beauty of these things all I had to do was load the girl holding her statue, delete everything in that file except her hair.  Size her hair to match the boy's hair in the boy climbing the wall file.  Ungroup everything and then select all and regroup then size to what I wanted to cut for the card.  That might sound daunting but I promise it's easy to do.

My stamped sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom stamp set titled Fitness Junkie.
