Boyscout Stew Recipe Page

As I sit at my desk on this dreary, stormy day I thought this scrapbook recipe page would be a perfect one to share.  This recipe is one that my Grandad used to make on his Boyscout camping expeditions.  He'd put his cast iron pot on the campfire and fill it with all this yummy goodness.  Of course I just throw mine together in the crockpot and let it cook while I'm at work.  And I've modified it a little in that he used to put green beans in his and since I can't stand mushy green beans I leave those out.  Another thing I've done is that I like to use the spicy V8 only for my broth since we like spice.

The cuts I used for this page are:

From My Kitchen for the recipe card

Italian Mice from Marjorie Ann Designs for the mouse in the pot

And now I'm off to enter this into the following challenges:

Hiding in My Craft Room - Let's Scrapbook - Ends August 22nd

DL Art - August Linky Challenge - Ends August 31st

I love this project even though it made me giggle.
I was wondering how many boy scouts it would take to make the stew tasty.

Like the layout. Recipe sounds good. For dinner yesterday I made a pork roast and roasted corn on the cob in oven.
