Out of This World Birthday

Happy Friday and Valentine's day everyone!  I am so happy to announce that our Cardz TV Design Team is back in action after our holiday season break.  And this quarter you'll even see some new faces playing along with us.

For our first challenge we are creating birthday cards!  How fun is that?  Everyone has a birthday - young, old, male, female and everyone in between - so there's a lot of play room in this great challenge.  That means your imagination is your own limit.

I chose to what I thought was a fun theme for my card - out of this world.  And it makes for a great card for a guy of any age really.  

So what's the "recipe" you ask?  Well I used:

Space Party for the planet and the spaceship

Cricut Essentials for my circles

The purple portion of my planet I ran through my cuttlebug using the Spots and Dots folder.  After that I did some heat embossing using Stampendous' Stardust embossing powder to give my planet a little 'bling'.

The sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps set Up and Away.
