Pumpkinhead

 

Last week my husband and I popped into the local ABC Wine and Spirits store and while we were there I saw a couple different varieties of pumpkin beer and thought "hmmmm, interesting".  After my initial interest I began looking at pricing and packaging and as soon as I saw this one I was like "Yep, that's the one.  It's going home with me because I can 'craft' with it."  My husband looked at me a little funny when I told him what I was going to do before I actually tried it.  Of course he just laughed but he knows how I am.

 

So I have these great files that were free during a Nightmare Before Christmas blog hop last year and I knew there would be something perfect for this beer.  Turns out I was right.  There was this great cut of Jack as the Pumpkin King.  Using that cut, I placed him on one of the Wine Tags - also from SVG Cutting Files.  I then used one of the sentiments from the Jaded Blossom Pick Your Poison stamp set.

Oh, and as for how the beer tastes, it has a pumpkin flavor to it right after you get past all the hops.  It's good but I have to say I'm more of a cider person - love my Angry Orchard and Apple Shock Top.  :)
