Anything Goes Blog Hop

Happy Saturday everyone and welcome to the Cardz TV 3D Designers Anything Goes Blog Hop.  Today our 3D designers will be showcasing a variety of projects because anything goes.

For my project today I chose to make a small candy purse.  Perfect for giving a special friend or co-worker a littler pick me up.  The file for the purse treat bag is from SVG Cutting Files.

The stamped sentiment on my purse is from the Cardz TV Stamps set titled Simple Thoughts.

And now that you've seen my project be sure to hop your way on through to see all of the other wonderful designers our team has created.  Oh, and if you started at my blog be sure to go start from the beginning.  I'd sure hate for you to miss all that crafty goodness.

Here's the line up.....

One and Only Butt-erfly

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I LOVE the Poopez files from SVG Cutting Files.  Today I'm playing with the Butterfly.

One of the many things that I love about this time of year are all the beautiful butterflies that I see.  So many colors mixed and blended together and no matter how they are mixed each one is beautifully done.  And in keeping that in mind I decided to use a patterned paper for my butterfly.  At the tip of the antenna I used a couple of Purple Twilight colored skittles.

Oh and that shaped card base?  That's also from SVG Cutting Files.  It's called the Ornate Card Base 3.

My stamped sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps set titled Just Sayin'.

And now I'm off to enter my card into the following challenge:

Summer Challenge - SVG Cutting Files - Ends June 15th

Book Worms

I love to read.  I just don't have enough time to read as much as I would like.  So when I saw this awesome I Love Books file from Marjorie Ann Designs I knew that I had to add it to my collection.

Not only does this particular file have the three different girls with their books, but it also has adorable owls, a book mark, title for layouts and a window seat scene.  That's a lot of fun and possibilities right there.

The stamped sentiment on my card is from the Jaded Blossom stamp set titled Enchanted.  This set comes in a bundle that also includes candy stamps a couple of designer tapes.

Magical Unicorn

Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you.

I used this adorable Snuggle Palz Unicorn from Cuddly Cute Designs as my focal point.

For the card background I used a solid colored pre-made card that I picked up in a set as a "hot buy" from Michael's a couple weeks ago.  The reason I did this was because I wanted a simple background that would allow my unicorn to stand out and not get lost with other colors or designs.

The stamped sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom stamp set Unicorns & Glitter.

And there you have it.  My quick, easy and clean card.

Autism Awareness Bear

Well it's Monday.  That means it's a brand new week and I have to say that I'm honestly not sure I'm ready for it.  LOL  I think I'd rather just take a break from the 9 to 5 weekday struggle and sit home and just craft for a while.  But who of us wouldn't, right?  Oh well, at least we had the weekend.
So today I have a card to share that I'm sending to a precious young man.  I belong to a group called I Run 4.  What this group does is match those of us who have the ability to get out there and run (or do other physical activities) with those who cannot.  Last year I was matched with a special young man who is autistic.  So when I saw the I Love Someone With Autism file from Marjorie Ann Designs I knew that I had to create something with it.
To create my card I decided to use my Distress Inks by Tim Holtz and make my own background.  I simply applied ink to a foam pad on my blending tool and then I rubbed it across my card.
After applying my bear to the card I decided to add skittles from DoubleClick Connections.

The stamped sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps set titled Ready, Set, Go.

Baby Quilt

Today I thought I'd share with you a project I've been working on for some time now.  It's the reason why I've been so quiet with my papercrafting lately.  Now that this one is finished though, I'm off to the next.

You see, my first granddaughter, Ocean, is making her appearance in mid-July.  So of course grandma is busy getting things made.  :)

Cake Smash

I've been quiet lately, working away on a cross stitched baby quilt for my granddaughter Ocean.  Now that the quilt is done it's time to work on the next item for her nursery.  First though I thought I'd sit down and make a birthday card.

This card was made using the Cake Smash Birthday Boy file from Marjorie Ann Designs.  I also used the Party Animal stamp set from Jaded Blossom and some red skittles from DoubleClick Connections.

My party hat and celebrate papers are from the Eat Cake mats stack by Paper Studio.
