Coloring Easter Eggs

Hooray it's Friday!  I've been waiting for this day all week!  It's just been a very long one and I'm ready to have no commitments for a couple of days.

And it's also time for another Cardz TV Cards challenge.  This week we're creating Easter cards.  Use any icon/symbol or whatever so long as the theme is Easter.

For my card I chose to use this adorable bunny that is part of the digital Cricut cartridge Seasonal Characters.  There's only like four or five characters on this cartridge but they're all as cute as can be.

My stamped sentiment is from the Happy Days stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps.  And now that you've seen my take on the challenge be sure to check out the other cards our team has created.  Then after you're filled with inspiration create your own Easter card, link up and play along with us.

I can't wait to see what you create.

Easter Eggs

So I found these cute little plastic eggs at Michael's and thought they'd be a fun alternative to the traditional Easter basket.  After all my kids are grown and at they're ages who wants paper dolls, toy cars and stuffed animals?  Well maybe the stuffed animal.  Mind you I only picked up eggs to do for those who still live in town near me - trying to mail chocolate for a minimum three day journey could get messy.  LOL

Using my printable vinyl and cuts from both Cricut and Marjorie Ann Designs I went to work.  The bunny with the egg is from the Seasonal Characters Cricut digital cartridge.  The bunny with his bunny peep is from You're Eggstra Sweet and the chick with the lamb is from the Easter Tweets file - both by Marjorie Ann Designs.

I then used one the Cricut cartridge Baby Steps to cut the names for each of my eggs.  Here I have to tell you that I'd never placed vinyl on a curved surface and must say that it was challenging.  Even now you can see where I have a bubble on one of the eggs trying to lay it out smoothly.......oh well, something tells me that my child won't be that concerned given all the chocolate inside that egg.

And there you have it.  My quick little Easter goodie treats.

May Good Luck Pursue You....

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to an Anything Goes challege at Pause Dream Enjoy.  That's right, for the next two weeks it's whatever and however you decide.

Since yesterday was St. Patrick's Day I just had to play with this adorable cut from the Seasonal Characters digital cartridge.  I also used one of the 'swirl' cutsf from Cricut Essentials to create my rainbow.  Then I cut one of the clouds from the sky paper I used for my background and pop dotted it to add another 'layer' to my card.  Oh, and my little leprachaun was placed on an action wobble to add in even more fun.

And now that you've seen my card for this week's challenge.  Take a look at all of the other wonderful designs our talented ladies created for you this week.  Then after you've been amply inspired, create your own project, link up and play along with us.

February Calendar

So while my husband was playing Call of Duty as he so often does on the weekend I sat in my craft room going through some freebies I recently won in a challenge and came across a magnetic calendar kit from SEI.  As I pulled out the papers and stickers I thought this is great but I really want to 'scrap' my pages and so I created my page for the month of February.

For this page I used one of the pages from the K&Company valentine mat stack.  Cut the February from Designer's Calendar and the cute little cupids from Seasonal Characters.

Now I just have to decide what I'm going to do for my other months......

Be Mine

Now that the Christmas holidays are over and the New Year has begun it's time to start looking to the next 'big' holiday - Valentine's Day.  So yesterday as I sat in my craft room playing I decided to make my first Valentine's Day card.

For this one I used Seasonal Characters for the cupid; and,

Create a Critter 2 for the hearts.

I wanted to print the verbiage on the hearts with my printer, but I forgot that my son used all the ink so I had to write the verbiage instead.......

Baby New Year

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to another Pause, Dream, Enjoy challenge where anything goes this week!  So while you're still getting over all that Thanksgiving bounty you stuffed yourself with yesterday why not take a moment to create a project and play along with us.

For my project I used this wonderful baby new year cut from the Seasonal Characters digital cartridge I found a couple weeks ago.  Isn't he just the cutest?  And I can think of a few other ways to use him as well.....

Speaking of Christmas....

....it is coming fast.  No creeping up on us this year.  And today I'd like to share a card that I created for the Speaking of Christmas DT challenge for the Cricut Cardz Challenge.  This week our directive was to create a Christmas card using any cartridge and colors we wanted; however, we had to use a Christmas phrase.

For my card, I used:

Create a Critter 2 for the Ho, ho, ho phrase cut at 2"

Seasonal Characters for my Santa cut at 4"

I was so excited to find this awesome digital download when Cricut had their digital cuts on sale for 30% off a couple weeks or so ago.

And now that you've seen my card for this week's challenge be sure to check out all the other great designs our team created.  Then create your own, link up, share and play along with us.  I can't wait to see what you create.
