Blog Candy Assignment Time

I tried combining this with another post but then realized that wasn't a great idea.....Don't worry Carol your entry won't be lost.......

Last year I went through a creative slump and with all the stress from work and cold weather keeping me away from my Cricut I feel like I'm there again. So I need you to help me out.

To enter for a chance to win - Don't worry you don't have to become a follower - just look over the list of cartridges I own and then leave a comment with the following direction/s:

  1. Name of cartridge you want to see me use in my design

  2. Which cut/s on the cartridge to use

  3. Theme (i.e. encouragement, birthday, etc.)

  4. Do you have a particular style of card you want me to try (S-fold, Pedestal, etc)
Your Cricut MB name, a link to your blog or email address (so that I can message you if you are one of the winners)

  5. Entries must be submitted by commenting on this specific post NO LATER THAN midnight March 14th

I will choose the winner at random on March 15th using random.org and will then contact the winner for their mailing address.

I dont know what Cart it would be on if any but I would love a tea cup/pot shaped card. If not one of those a cupcake if the sweettreats has one...No particular style... I have been playing around with making my daughters invitations for her party in May but so far I have not been able to create one I like. I have the wild Cards cart with a cupcake card....

I would love to see what you can create with Graphically speaking-There is so much on this cart I never know where to begin. I would love to see a FAther's Day card any style. I have trouble coming up with masculine cards.
Thanks!

Here's what I'm thinkin, but you have to run with it, b/c I can only copy, not create. ;-) I would use Makin' the Grade or Plantin Schoolbook and make a card with a pop-up apple. I'd prefer that the apple can be removed for subsequent use (maybe a magnet?). Teacher Appreciation Day is just around the corner and I'd like to copy something stunning. Thanks for thinking of us! P.S. You sure have a lot of cartridges!!

I am not sure what cartridge to pick since I am really new to cricut and not sure what is on all the different cartridges, but I would like to see a masculine type card for a birthday. I find cards all over the place that are frilly and more for a woman or child, but very rarely see a masculine card. My husband birthday is coming up soon and I would love to make him a card.

I really like the Jubilee cart, but cant think of anything creative to do with it. I would like to see a Welcome to your new home type card, with a gate fold? I was recently sending these to a few of my daughters friends at college, and they all ended up looking exactly the same. thanks for the inspiration, with a bonus chance to win! gwraffin@gmail.com

Our Vacation Bible School this year has a Western Theme called Saddle Ridge Ranch, so I would like a VBS worker appreciation card using the Old West cartridge and the boot cut.
Thanks, Penny Pennyabc123@gmail.com

I would like to see a card made with the Stand & Salute cartridge with a military theme thanking the soldiers for the job they do and sacrifices they make. A Marine theme would be great.

I also know what it is like to be in a slump and even though I dont have many cartridges I would like to get the most out of each. Saying that, Graphically Speaking is the biggest challenge for me in using. I would love to see a masculine card that can be easily integrated into diffent "Man" themes. Birthday, Anniversary etc. I am so excited to see what can be done and to actually use this cartridge.

Thanks Shelly - shbaker10@yahoo.com

Old West, please! Daugher is at a "ranch" school and I'd love to make her a card with cowgirl theme. I'm very new to Cricut so every feature would be a "class" for me!

I would love to see a 2 page LO using the Gyspy Wanderings. This should be for anything that you find inspiring. I would like it to be girlish, or at least generic for either.

Wow, after reading you will be busy!! I would love to just see you make all these cards LOL. For me:

Young boy bday card, but in halloween colors and use indie art or PDDU anything with a skull & cross bones, and the cut would need to be tri shutter or tiered so multiple "skull" "bones" type images could be incorporated on it.

I would like to see you use SYI, using the paisley on page 79, doing a "just because" card. I'm interested in seeing the S-fold.
My MB name is dj1952 and my blog address is http://www.designsbydj.blogspot.com

Well I am from Canada so I probably can not win but I have sort of won anyway cause I found your blog and I am enjoying looking through your stuff for ideas. You have a lot more cartridges than I have but they cost a lot more up here in Canada so I am doing pretty well. I am going to ask you to use your Child Year cartridge only because I own it and do not know what to do with it. I would like to see an interesting card, perhaps a sliding card or a trophy card because it seems to me that they tend to lend themselves to a more formal card. Now I am going to sign off and explore your blog.

I would love to see a card made for a newborn little guy from his big sister, my grand daughter who is only two already loves the crafting with grandma and I would love a card so I can get the idea on what and how to make it. The Cartridges I would use would be New Arrivals and A Child's Year.

Awesome Idea you have here :)

Hi,

I know that I have left another post. But wanted to say that if you ever do get the cart Pagoda, would love to see a 2 page layout using it.

It is a cart I love, but haven't been able to use to if full potential.

Thank you,

Wow! Some fabulous ideas posted. I've been trying to figure out how to use the Paper Dolls, but make the arms moveable to be more expressive. Perhaps a Mother's Day card??? I'm also VERY new to Circut, and need all the inspiration I can get!!

Thanks for your wonderful blog.

Hmm, tough, because you have so many great carts! I'm going to say a side step, because they are FABULOUS :) with... New Arrival (and/or A Childs Year), for a new baby card.

This is one I've been playing with for awhile now and just can't seem to get it right, so I want to see what you come up with.

I completely understand getting in a rut, I've hardly been in the craft room at all and I can tell you my Fiance is seeing my grumpy noncrafting side!

Good luck!

I think you just need to get out your scraps and use Accent Essentials and just cut out a bunch of different stuff. Set them on a white piece of paper and start looking things will start to happen.

Love you Blog-----Thank you!!!!
