I was thumbing through one of my old Cardmaking & Papercraft magazines the other day and stumbled upon a card that I just had to scraplift. It used printed and chipboard elements which I just replaced with my paper stash and Cricut die cuts.....well I did use one small piece of chipboard.
For this card I used:
From My Kitchen for the coffee pot, cup and saucer
George for the hearts
For the curved background I tried cutting a circle but couldn't get it to look right so I went to the kitchen, grabbed a saucer, traced and cut away.
At first I was going to used more subdued papers for my background but switched to these brighter colors at the last minute and I'm glad I did because they worked to pull everything together nicely.
The stamped sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps set Brew HaHa.
And now I'm off to enter this punny card in the Pun challenge over at Craftin Desert Diva's.
