Today
I thought I'd do something a little bit different and create a fun scene/picture for Easter. I had a lot of fun playing around and creating this too.
So here's what I did. I used:
- the Mickey & Friends cartridge for the sun
- the Easter cartridge for the grass, basket, eggs and grey bunnies; and finally
- the Simply Charmed cartridge for the tree, birds, and baby in the bunny outfit
I ran the bunny outfit and my two little grey colored bunnies through my Xyron and then covered them with a bit of flocking to add some texture. It doesn't show up well in the picture but you can see it in real life.
Then I decided to emboss the tree trunk to add a touch of
a different kind of texture.
And of course I had to cut a couple of extra Easter eggs to "hide" in the grass because what's an Easter scene without some hidden eggs?
Now I'm off to enter my project into the following challenges this week:
DL Art - Easter - Ends March 23rd
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Easter - Ends March 27th
DoubleClick Connections - Use a bunny, basket or eggs - Ends March 29th
