It's time for a new monthly Jaded Blossom Challenge, and I am excited to announce that I was chosen with the honor of being a guest designer for this month!
This month's challenge is Crafter's Choice. So that means you chose the theme!
I love Christmas and last month I really went for broke on my Christmas in July projects. And since this month is crafter's choice at Jaded Blossom I decided to get in yet another Christmas project.
For this one I decided to try one of the rectangular glass blocks and since they don't come with a stand I went in search of ideas for how to do something so that my light would not cause the block to wobble. Some suggestions were to feed the light through the top, use felt pads like those for furniture and to use the glass stones like you use in vases. As you can see I opted for the glass stones and I LOVE the way it turned out.
I also created a little notecard to give to the recipient along with the glass block. The stamped sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom stamp set titled Christ is Born.
Now that you've seen my project for this month's challenge I hope that you'll create your own, link up and play along with us. But first be sure to check out all the other wonderful projects the Jaded Blossom team has created to share with you.
