Dream Catcher Tam

This morning I wanted to take a quick break from papercrafting and share a new hat that I finished the other night.  Sometimes it's not easy finding that perfect balance for my hobbies, but I'm sure trying.  For the longest time I wasn't loom knitting, and now add in that I'm once again trying to learn how to crochet.....

This hat is another new pattern from Once Upon a Loom.  (She has it and several others for sale on Ravelry.)  The yarn is from the Deborah Norville Serenity chunky tweeds collection and the color is Claret. I admit I was a little concerned that the weight wasn't enough but it made a great, light hat and I'm very pleased with the end result.
