Summer Sidekicks

Remember when I told you that I'd be creating more of those video game cards?  Well today I'd like to share one with  you that I made using the Yoshi and Toad characters from the Mario games.  My stamped sentiment is from the Super Hero stamp set over at Jaded Blossom. Together this cut - which I received during a blog hop with SVG Cutting Files - and stamp pair up beautifully for a friendship card.

But what does that have to do with summer you ask?  When I look all these great colors I am reminded of the warm sunshine and being outdoors.  Of course if you ask my 16 year old he'll tell you summer is the perfect time to stay inside and play video games all day.  And right now I can't tell who's worse - my 16 year old son or my husband.  I guess that's okay though because it affords me more time to hurry and get the house work done so I can hide up in my craft room and get down to business.
